I work at a Hardware store, we have over 45,000 products in out store alone. People think you know every single one and how they work etc.
I get the above on a regular basis, like nearly every time I work. gets very frustrating!“Can you help me find this dog food? I brought one piece of kibble so you can see what it looks like.” (It looks like a piece of kibble, you moron.)
What protein is in it? “um….”
What brand is it? “um….”
What does the package look like? “oh, I can’t describe it, but I’m sure I’ll know it when I see it.”
Walk them through the aisles of dog food - about 60 brands, probably 150 varieties of kibble. “This is so weird. I’m sure I bought it here!”
“My dog is a lab, if that helps?” Why would that help? There is ONE brand of food that makes different varieties for different breeds. Go home, look at the package, write down what it is. “Oh, I keep it in a Tupperware thing, I threw the bag away.”
